Jerkicue May 29


Already world renown by locals and celebrities alike for their jerk chicken and a variety of other scrumptious Jamaican and Caribbean dishes, Clive’s Café, nestled in the heart of culture rich Little Haiti (Miami) presents “Jerkicue” on Memorial Day, May 29th 2017 from 11am to 9pm.

BBQ and Jerk styled cuisine and other delicious foods including vegan options will be available all day with art, live music and vendors and it is with much excitement that we present the art of spoken word in a competitive setting with the Poetry $lam!

This indoor/outdoor, paw friendly event will serve as the perfect culmination to your Memorial Day Weekend festivities.

The Poetry $lam commences at 1pm with a short break between rounds and a showcase at 6pm, featuring the area’s most talented, as an intermission before the final round.

Poets may submit to enter the Poetry $lam at Jerkicue or via social media with the hashtags #clivescafe #poetryslam

Admission to the “Jerkicue” will be free and Jerkicue value packs starting at $10 includes sampler and beverage tickets and a gift bag while supplies last.
